DBM 3.1 Amendments (Word .doc) 

DBM 3.0 has recently been revised by Richard Bodley-Scott. This revision, DBM 3.1, is not available as a printed book, but as a set of amendment pages. Feel free to distribute these amendments.

 

DBM 3.1 BHGS/IWF Clarifications (Word .doc)

The British Historical Gaming Society, in cooperation with the International Wargaming Federation has published a list of rule clarifications for DBM 3.1 These are the standards which will be used at Fall In!, Cold Wars, and Historicon.

Instructions for Installing DBMv31 program:

 

1. Using Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer!) or a similar file manager, create a separate directory called DBMv31.
2. Copy the zip file to the directory.
3. Use your antivirus software to scan the file before unzipping (just in case!)
4. Unzip the files.
5. Copy your *.MET and *.DAT files across from your old DBMw2 directory (if you were using the old program) to the new DBMv31 directory. This will allow you to maintain the lists for 3.0 and for 3.1.
6. You might want to create a new shortcut icon on your desktop (right mouse click on your main desktop background, select new, select shortcut) to the new DBMv31.EXE and DBMWLIST.EXE program in the new directory.
7. Run the program.

Note that the program comes with a ReadMe. txt file with instructions for how to use it.
