7. Top 30 Mrs Robinson Candidates (most generous to new players)
The table below shows the players who have been most generous towards to new and inexperienced DBM players.
These players have perhaps done the most to encourage players competing in their FIRST or SECOND
rated competition. The figure shown is the difference between their average score (in 10 point terms)
against all players and their average score against new players. A positive indicates that they have
have on average scored less against new players than all opponents (been more generous to the inexperienced).
To be eligible players have to have played at least 3 games gainst new players and 10 overall.
Competitions in the first 12 months of ratings have been excluded as have any that involved
more than 33% of apparently new players. This is because the "new"players in these competitions
are more likely to be experienced ones just being first picked up in the ratings.
Games where both players are new are also not included.
