Ohio Valley Hoplite |
The Ohio Valley Hoplites are members of The North American Society of Ancients and Medieval Wargamers that reside in Ohio and West Virginia. We typically run tournaments at local conventions such as CAPCON, Origins and ATC and run several smaller tournaments throughout the year. Please check the NASAMW website for upcoming events.
The following rules will be observed at all of our tournaments. Two lists from the same time period and geographic area (No LIR west and LIR east for example, both would have to be east or west). Dice will be made available at all tournaments and will be mandatory at our regional championship at CAPCON. The dice are provided by Chessex and will as long as we use them. We will end our games on defenders bound when time has been called. So even if the attacker has just rolled pip dice, the defender will still gets his/her bound after the attackers bound. We will continue to play 400 APs in 15mm, 350 APs for 25mm (3.5 hours for 15mm and 25mm) and 15mm mini (200 AP) will still be two hours. As a matter of etiquette, if you request that your opponent use a dice cup, you shall use one as well.
