Opponents Wanted
Return to the NASAMW Home Page

Looking for a gaming opponent in your area? First, have a look at the Regions page for the region in which you live. There may already be a club in your area. If not, NASAMW is making this space available to its members to post ads seeking opponents. Of course we can not guarantee that there is someone in your neighborhood, but this is one way to look. Please provide the following information:

bulletYour full name.
bulletEmail and Telephone contact information.
bulletThe city/town in which you live.
bulletThe armies you have/play and the period(s) in which you are interested.
bulletThe rule sets you play/are willing to learn.
bulletHow far you are willing to travel for a game.
bulletAny other information you deem appropriate.

Please send this information to Jeff Zorn. Your notice will appear on this page within a day or so. If you ever want this ad removed please do send a message in to that effect.

bulletThe Connecticut Game Club NEW

The Connecticut Game Club was formed in 1978 and meets regularly to play miniatures and board games. The CGC plays 15mm and 25mm Ancients and Medieval including A to Z ancients and DBA but the club is open to anyone who wants to host an even no mater what rule set. With over 50 active members, we typically have 3-4 miniatures event going on at each meeting. We meet the second Saturday of every month at the Ramada Inn, Stratford, CT on Lordship Blvd., exit 30 off I-95 (Surf Ave from the north, Lordship Blvd from the south). Gaming is from 9 am to midnight. Check the Club Events Listing for scheduled events but you are always welcome to bring your favorite game with you, pickup games are always encouraged and most board games are not scheduled. Contact Roland Fricke to add your event to the schedule or find out the latest on games to be played. Club website is at http://ctgameclub.org/index.htm for more information about the current game schedule and directions.

bulletCalifornia Gamers:

Game Habitat hosts a DBM night every second Friday night starting at 7pm. The format is quite informal, just bring an army and play. We usually get 4-6 players or so, and folks are usually welcome to play a command or 2 in a multi-player game if we get an odd number. The next DBM nite is set for 3/26/04, and every 2 weeks thereafter. People usually play with 400 point armies, but this is a preference, not a rule.
